January 22, 2015: Happy new year, everyone! I just wanted to apologize for my absence here before I discuss a little bit about this blog. I do plan on continuing to post here and give my thoughts and opinions and whatnot about the world of writing, but I will be posting bi-weekly, just twice per month. If I’m able to do more, I will do more, but for now I believe that’ll be good enough for me to handle. As of right now, I plan on sticking to the plans I talked about in my latest post and keeping everyone updated as to how that’s going. Thank you for understanding and have a great year!

I will also be changing the name of this blog soon to either match my married name or to a previous name it was before. More to come!

November 20, 2014: Well, I got married on November 1st and have been participating in NaNoWriMo this month. It’s been a really busy time lately and I’ve been working a lot, so I am very sorry that I haven’t been updating my blog as much as I would want. But in other news, NaNo is going well and I’m almost at the 50k word goal, so that’s great! Otherwise, that’s all I have for now.

August 2, 2014: I haven’t been updating with news lately because there isn’t much to tell, but I am currently working two jobs (most likely will become one), recently moved into an apartment with my fiance, and have just been feeling uncreative lately. I have started writing bits of my first novel series, so I hope to finish that sometime within the next year. Other than that, I will be looking for some freelance opportunities, if they arise, and other writing/reading related things.

May 19, 2014: I officially graduated from Fitchburg State University on Saturday, May 17th, and it feels great! I can’t wait to delve into the world and use what I’ve learned in a new environment.

April 28, 2014: I participated in the 35th Annual Medieval Conference at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire over the weekend and talked about my research paper on The Life of Saint Margaret. It was a fun time and I can officially say that I participated in a conference!

March 26, 2014: I have updated my Portfolio page with scroll links so it is easier to access and read through what you want to read through when searching my work. I’m still in process of getting my website all spiffy and clean, so please bear with me as I work on it! It’s close to completion.

January 29, 2014: My short story, “A Lonely Day,” was published, in print, in FSU’s literary journal, Route 2! I am extremely proud to have one of my pieces published! You can read my short story in my Portfolio.

January 27, 2014: Updated my website address to help get myself out there more as more of a professional than just a student. Also, I’ll have pieces of my work published in my university literary journal, Route 2! The hardcopy will be coming out this Wednesday, Jan. 29th! I also hope to have a piece published in the alternate online journal for my university, Detour!

January 17, 2014: As I’ve updated my website more, I have added some pieces of work to my portfolio. This layout may or may not be changed in the upcoming weeks, so I hope that that won’t cause any issues.

January 16, 2014: Welcome to my website! I am here to create a professional space where I can display any and all publications and pieces of work that I have done over the years, and for the years to come. I hope to have everything set up and completed over the coming weeks, so please bear with me as I get everything set up. Thank you.
